School Based Mental Health Therapist- Harford County
About The Position
Balance Point Wellness is seeking qualified licensed therapists (LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC, LCMFT, Psychologist, etc.) to provide mental health therapy to children and adolescents in Harford County schools. This is a Mental Health Therapist position within the Harford County schools, not a Guidance Counselor position. Balance Point Wellness is a community-based holistic mental health and wellness center accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Healthcare (ACHC), providing counseling/psychotherapy, psychiatry, adventure therapy, and wellness services in Maryland. They also have a Telehealth division and a school-based program in Baltimore County and Harford County Schools.
Requirements
- Master’s/doctorate in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling required
- Licensed in Maryland to provide mental health treatment
- Psychotherapy experience in a community setting preferred
- Background Check
- Highly organized and possesses time management
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned caseload (Provide ongoing therapy)
- Complete psychosocial assessments
- Complete contact notes for completed sessions- All documentation is completed in a cloud-based EHR
- Development of person-centered treatment plans when necessary
