Requirements

  • LGPC/LCPC, LGFT/LCMFT, LMSW/LCSW-C/LCSW
  • Active Maryland license
  • Energetic and ambitious attitude
  • Access to high-speed internet
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Spanish speaking preferred
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Effective communication skills with prescribing partners, clients, and others
  • Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly to maintain confidentiality
  • Effective time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to communicate with diplomacy, respect, and professionalism
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA Confidentiality and Privacy Policies
  • Competent, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both senior clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Demonstrated skill in applying varied interventions with individuals/families in crisis
  • Working knowledge of family systems and their impact on mental health
  • Ability to provide necessary self-care and demonstrate appropriate professional boundaries and behavior
  • Awareness of personal strengths and limitations
  • Applicants who are fluent in both English and Spanish are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality clinical assessment and treatment, interventions and care based on established best practices and medical necessity guidelines
  • Complete diagnostic assessments and develop measurable treatment plans to meet needs and goals of clients
  • Complete diagnostic assessment tools that support and correspond with client’s clinical presentation
  • Complete client notes capturing each client session
  • Complete clinical documentation in compliance with payor standards
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date client records and communications in HIPAA compliant EHR
  • Provide culturally sensitive, client-centered care
  • Work collaboratively with members of BSF’s team
  • Provide community referral sources as required throughout care and at discharge
  • When relevant, coordinate care with prescriber, PCP, or other collaterals
  • Maintain a confidential and professional looking virtual office space
  • Remain in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain good standing with all licensing boards
  • Complete all required continuing education requirements for licensure and specializations
