About The Position

School-Based Mental Health Technicians provide behavior support to all students within the classroom, support individual behavioral plans and interventions, run daily social-emotional groups, provide direct behavioral instruction, and model appropriate behavior for students experiencing mental health and behavioral challenges. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Services is required.
• Strong desire and motivation to work with children/youth with a behavioral/mental health diagnosis.
• A minimum of one-year experience working with children with behavioral challenges.
• Current clearances (within 6 months).

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a school-based Mental Health Technician is highly preferred.
• Completion of the 40 hour RBT training (3rd edition task list) is highly preferred.
• Safety-Care certification is a plus.
