About The Position
PRO Pediatric Services is seeking an exceptional Mental Health Technician to provide services within a local intermediate unit for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves providing behavior support to students in a K-12 Partial Hospitalization Program, supporting individual behavioral plans, running social-emotional groups, and offering direct behavioral instruction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Services is required
- A minimum of one-year experience working with children with behavioral challenges
- Current clearances (within 6 months)
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a school-based Mental Health Technician is highly preferred
- Completion of the 40 hour RBT training is highly preferred
- Safety-Care certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide behavior support to all students within the classroom
- Support individual behavioral plans and interventions
- Run daily social-emotional groups
- Provide direct behavioral instruction
- Model appropriate behavior for students
