About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking Licensed Mental Health Professionals (LMFT/LCSW) to support K-12 students in Moreno Valley, CA, for the upcoming 2026 - 2027 school year. This role is crucial in promoting student resilience and pro-social behaviors through various therapeutic interventions. The clinician will also be involved in mental health screenings, implementing culturally competent programs, collaborating with staff and community providers, and executing school-wide safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling Psychology
  • Valid California Clinical License as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish to provide culturally competent care to the student population

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to promote student resilience and pro-social behaviors.
  • Conduct mental health screenings.
  • Implement strategies to increase access to culturally competent School-Based Mental Health (SBMH) programs.
  • Partner with staff and community providers to streamline referrals and improve service sustainability.
  • Execute school-wide safety protocols, including suicide prevention and post-vention support.
