Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling Psychology
- Valid California Clinical License as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish to provide culturally competent care to the student population (Highly Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to promote student resilience and pro-social behaviors.
- Conduct mental health screenings and implement strategies to increase access to culturally competent School-Based Mental Health (SBMH) programs.
- Partner with staff and community providers to streamline referrals and improve service sustainability.
- Execute school-wide safety protocols, including suicide prevention and post-vention support.
