About The Position

High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency dedicated to treating and preventing substance use disorders and mental illness. With programs across Southeastern Massachusetts, we offer a comprehensive continuum of care, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. We also support survivors of abuse, violence, and families facing homelessness. Our core belief is in the inherent goodness, worth, and dignity of every individual, and our aim is to empower individuals and families to achieve personal change and enhance their quality of life. This full-time, school-based clinician role involves meeting with students within their school environment, following the typical school schedule. The clinician will work directly with students in an office located within the assigned school and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administration to develop effective treatment plans for students requiring emotional or social support. Experience with elementary to high school-aged clients is essential.

Requirements

Master's degree in psychology, social work or related field required.
Experience with working with elementary to high school aged clients is required.

Nice To Haves

Independent license - Massachusetts LMHC or LICSW preferred.

Responsibilities

Meet with students at school during the school day.
Follow the typical school schedule and work with students directly within an office in the particular school.
Partner with teachers, parents and school administration to create a workable treatment plan for students that need additional emotional or social support.
