About The Position

Clarvida is seeking a School Clinician to support students in our alternative school placement program serving elementary through high school students. You will provide individual and group counseling, complete clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, support behavior intervention, collaborate with caregivers, and implement skill-building curriculum. In this role, you will work closely with students, families, school staff, and community partners to support IEP and behavioral goals. Clinicians build trusting therapeutic relationships and equip students with strategies to manage challenges related to emotional, behavioral, and environmental stressors. You will also respond to crises, help de-escalate situations, provide education on triggers and interventions, and utilize CPI techniques when necessary.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• Able to pass background and criminal record checks
• Compliance with drug-free workplace rules
• Meets mandated health requirements (e.g., negative tuberculosis test)

Nice To Haves

• Trauma, CBT, NCC, or DBT credentials preferred but not required
• Desire to support at-risk youth in an alternative school setting
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
