Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field required.
- Must be eligible for licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in the state of TN.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families preferred.
- Experience providing services in school-based or community-based settings preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and build individualized, person-centered treatment plans with students, families, and school teams
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy in school and outpatient settings, using evidence-based approaches for anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns
- Coordinate whole-person care — partnering with PCPs, monitoring medication needs and HEDIS gaps, verifying enrollment, and linking families to community resources
- Act as the key liaison between schools, families, HCA programs (including Med Management), and external providers
- Step in during crises with grounded clinical judgment and thoughtful safety planning
- Maintain clinical documentation that meets state, Medicaid, HIPAA, and COA standards
- Build relationships with schools and community partners to grow program reach and referrals
- Stay sharp through ongoing supervision, training, and professional development
