About The Position

School-Based Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) at PRO in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday during normal school hours with K-12 students in a Dual Diagnosis Classroom. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a human service area is required
• Strong desire and motivation to work with children/youth with a behavioral health diagnosis
• A minimum of one-year experience working with children with behavioral challenges
• Completion of the 40 hour RBT training, 3rd edition task list.
• Current clearances (within 6 months)

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Behavioral Health Technician is highly preferred
• Safety-Care certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapeutic interventions in accordance with treatment plans
• Collaborate with clients, families, school staff, and treatment teams
• Respond to crisis situations as needed
• Support skill development across settings
• Maintain required documentation
• Participate in supervision and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure quality client care
