This role is a Master ’s-level licensed clinician who provides behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families in Peabody and Salem Public Schools. This is a full-time, on-site position aligned with the school calendar year. Requirements

  • Current LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or PsyD required
  • School-based health experience preferred
  • Experience preferred using Electronic Health Records and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using telehealth platforms
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to establishing a safe and respectful environment for team members
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
  • High level of commitment to continuous improvement and delivery of comprehensive, quality health care.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide crisis intervention, intake, diagnostic assessment, treatment planning to patients as well as outpatient psychotherapy services (individual, families, group).
  • Provide consultation to primary care and school staff pertaining to the behavioral health needs and treatment goals of their patients.
  • Network/collaborate with community leaders, health care providers, community-based organizations, and others who contribute to the ongoing assessment of the health needs of this group of patients.
  • Perform school outreach activities such as classroom education sessions, health awareness sessions and assist in facilitating a Youth Advisory Committee
  • Conduct community outreach identify resources that provide needed support for patients, as well as make referrals/coordinate services with these agencies.
  • Share best practices and expertise with both school and NSCH staff.
  • Meet productivity and documentation standards in a timely fashion using the electronic health record
  • Assist in completion of written reports required by SBHC funders
  • Participate in supervision, team and staff meetings, committee and task forces as required.
  • Perform additional duties to fulfill NSCH’s mission as assigned.
