About The Position
Mandan Public Schools is seeking to hire a Successful School and Life Skills (SSLS) Instructor for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is located at Mandan Middle School and involves teaching a course designed to help middle school students overcome challenges, succeed in the classroom, and develop skills for future academic success. The curriculum covers a range of topics including communication, personal assessment, study skills, time management, decision-making, technology, business, and financial literacy, as well as critical thinking and presentation skills.
Requirements
- Must hold appropriate license from the ND Education Standards and Practices Board.
- Satisfactory completion of the interview process.
- Verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous employment.
- Satisfactory completion of a state and federal background check.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of successful school and life skills standards within the designated curriculum.
- Ability to collaborate within Professional Learning Community.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students.
