About The Position
Chesterbrook Academy is seeking an enthusiastic School Age Group Teacher to join our growing community! Our goal is to inspire curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning in every child. As a School Age Group Teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to create an engaging classroom where children can explore, question, and discover. You will design hands-on lessons that prepare students for kindergarten and beyond, foster strong relationships with families through communication and collaboration, and support each child’s social, emotional, and academic growth.
Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years of age and meet state licensing requirements.
- 90 clock hours of training for the State of Maryland or 6 semester hours of early childhood education coursework.
- Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
- A passion for early childhood education and helping children learn and grow.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and build a positive classroom environment.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
