About The Position
The YMCA of Middle TN is seeking a School Age Services Area Director for their School Age Programs in Clarksville. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of multiple before and after-school sites, ensuring high-quality programming and a safe, nurturing environment for children. The Director will inspire their team, build relationships with schools, and make a daily impact.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 21
- High school diploma (or equivalent) + 4 years of related experience OR 2 years of college (with 30 hours in a related field) + 2 years of experience OR 4-year degree + 1 year of full-time experience in a group setting
- Strong leadership skills and a passion for youth development
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and bring positive energy to the team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- New Hire Orientation training
- DHS Background Disclosure Form & Fingerprint appointment
- Abuse Registry Check
- DHS Physical health form
- Proof of education
- Completed references report

- DHS TCCOTS “Before you Begin” and “Shaken Baby” training
