About The Position

Brightway Living & Learning is hosting a hiring event for their School Age Program (serving individuals aged 5-22). They are seeking to fill positions for Special Education Teachers, Teacher's Assistants (including Substitute Teacher's Assistants), Physical Therapists, and Speech Language Pathologists. Brightway Living & Learning, formerly the Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI), is a non-profit organization with a 65-year history of providing educational, residential, day habilitation, and vocational programs to over 1,600 children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities on Long Island. They utilize persistence, adaptability, and behavioral science to help individuals achieve their milestones. The hiring event will take place on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM at 99 Hollywood Drive, Smithtown, NY 11787. Full-time, part-time, and substitute (per diem) positions are available.

Requirements

For Special Education Teachers, Teacher Assistants, Physical Therapists, and Speech Language Pathologists, a NYS Certification is required.
