About The Position

Vivvi is reimagining child care and early learning by creating modern, supportive, and fun learning environments where children and teachers thrive. Vivvi is proud to partner with Toyota to provide exceptional enrichment and child care for school-aged children (ages 6–12) during spring and summer breaks on the Liberty, NC campus. As a School Age Head Teacher, you will lead and facilitate engaging lessons, enrichment activities, and after-school programs for children ages 6–12. You will supervise and guide cohorts of up to 17 children, ensuring safety, structure, and inclusivity. The role involves building a positive, nurturing, and fun environment that fosters learning, creativity, and curiosity. You will develop trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues through consistent communication and apply positive behavior management strategies with empathy and patience. Following and upholding all health, safety, and program policies is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood, or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience leading school-age classrooms, summer camps, or after-school programs
  • Passion for working with children ages 6–12 and seeing each child as capable and unique
  • Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices
  • Flexible, creative, and able to adapt activities on the fly
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to safety, health protocols, and inclusive learning environments
  • Independent US work authorization
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Liberty, N.C.
