School-Age Childcare Staff – After School
About The Position
Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our After School Program at our Lee F. Jackson Elementary School location for the 2026–2027 school year. This position is part-time and follows the school calendar, with afternoon hours from 3:25 pm to 6:00 pm. The role is ideal for individuals who love working with children, enjoy encouraging their curiosity and creativity, and can work well with teammates and communicate effectively with families. Success in this role involves ensuring children are engaged, safe, and having fun, maintaining full staffing, adhering to compliance regulations, and managing inventory of supplies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.

Responsibilities
- Ensure children are engaged, safe, and having fun every day.
- Maintain full staffing at the site every day.
- Ensure teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kids.
- Operate in ratio at all times.
- Ensure records are accurate and current.
- Ensure the program is ready for inspection on any given day.
- Ensure the site is well-stocked with necessary supplies and materials.
- Restock supplies before they run out.
