About The Position

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School Age Childcare Site Supervisor for our After School Program at Netherwood Elementary School in Hyde Park, NY, for the 2026–2027 school year. This role is ideal for individuals who love working with children, possess energy, kindness, and patience, and enjoy encouraging children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence. The position requires teamwork, effective communication with families, and a commitment to providing exceptional care. Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13
• Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB
• Must be warm, friendly, and upbeat
• Exceptional people skills, professional, reliable, and prompt
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and do whatever it takes to keep up with the children

Responsibilities

• Ensure children are engaged, safe, and having fun every day.
• Ensure the program reflects Healthy Kids Program’s model.
• Ensure the site is fully staffed every day.
• Ensure teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kids.
• Operate the site in ratio at all times.
• Ensure records are accurate and current.
• Ensure the program is ready for inspection on any given day.
• Ensure the site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need.
• Restock supplies before they run out.
