About The Position

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Supervisor for our After School Program at our Fort Montgomery Elementary School location for the 2026–2027 school year. This role involves providing care for school-age children (ages 5–12) on the days and during the hours you work. The ideal candidate loves working with children, brings energy and patience, encourages curiosity and creativity, works well with teammates, and communicates effectively with families. This position is well-suited for parents seeking a schedule that aligns with the school day, education majors or future teachers looking for hands-on experience, and retirees who enjoy mentoring children. The role focuses on ensuring program quality, maintaining adequate staffing, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing site inventory.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Ensure children are engaged, safe, and having fun every day.
• Ensure the program reflects Healthy Kids Program’s model.
• Ensure the site is fully staffed every day.
• Ensure teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kids.
• Ensure the site operates in ratio at all times.
• Ensure records are accurate and current.
• Ensure the program is ready for inspection on any given day.
• Ensure the site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need.
• Manage restocking of supplies before they run out.
