About The Position
The School Age Assistant Teacher is responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and play. This role requires bringing a sense of warmth, patience, and understanding to the classroom daily. The assistant teacher is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions for a group of children, cultivating positive relationships with children, families, teachers, and staff. They will also implement the school curriculum and assess the developmental needs of students.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid TB skin test
- Valid Proof of MMR
- Valid Proof of Covid Vaccine or Approved Exemption
- Valid food handlers permit
- Valid first aid and CPR card
- Child Care Basics (30 Hours Course) Initial Certificate or Equivalent (Within 5 Years)
