About The Position

Mountain Views Supervisory Union (MVSU) is seeking a dedicated School Adjustment Counselor/Mental Health Clinician to join the inaugural team of Options 2, a groundbreaking, substantially separate student therapeutic program at Woodstock Union Middle and High School. Options 2 is designed for students who find success elusive in a traditional setting. Our mission is to foster the resilience, self-direction, and social-emotional competencies students need to navigate the world. In the Options 2 program, experiential learning is centered on a hands-on, milieu-based approach with a small cohort of no more than 4-5 students. The program integrates the outdoors and the local community as vital learning spaces, and strives to develop academic, behavioral, and social-emotional skills through real-world application. Clinical and therapeutic opportunities are woven directly into both indoor and outdoor programming. As the School Adjustment Counselor, you will adapt clinical supports to fit a community-based, hands-on setting, ensuring that therapeutic growth happens alongside experiential activities. Students engage in this experiential learning while building trusting relationships with a team that includes a Special Educator, a Behavior Specialist, and a School Counselor, ensuring their diverse needs are supported in every environment.
