Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Libraries are seeking a Scholarly Communications and OER Librarian to provide strategic leadership, campus-wide outreach, and consultative support on issues related to scholarly communications, copyright, open access, and open education. This role will deliver programming, consultations, and initiatives to promote faculty, student, and staff engagement with Open Educational Resources (OER), scholarly publishing, and open pedagogy, thereby supporting research productivity and student success. The librarian will offer expertise in alternative publishing models, open scholarship, author rights, copyright interpretation, and compliance with public-access requirements for federally funded research. This position also involves monitoring trends in scholarly publishing, including predatory practices and changing licensing models, to guide the university community in making informed decisions about sharing and protecting their research. FAU Libraries are looking for a collaborative, organized, innovative, and communicative individual who can manage multiple projects effectively.
