About The Position

Tennessee Quality Care is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to join our Home Health team in Bartlett, TN. In this essential role, you’ll help ensure patients receive the care they need by coordinating schedules, supporting our clinical team, and providing exceptional service to patients, caregivers, and staff. Your work behind the scenes helps make quality care possible every day.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in a high-volume medical office environment required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

• college degree preferred
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Patient scheduling experience in a physician’s office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient appointments and complete reminder calls according to company guidelines.
• Coordinate and manage patient and clinician schedules efficiently.
• Track daily scheduling metrics and communicate scheduling trends to leadership.
• Answer incoming calls while providing exceptional customer service to patients, clinicians, and visitors.
• Maintain accurate patient records within scheduling and billing systems.
• Complete scheduling documentation, forms, and correspondence.
• Provide administrative, billing, and customer service support as needed.
• Protect confidential patient information and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain dependable attendance while supporting the changing needs of the department.
