  • Experience managing complex production schedules involving multi-stage manufacturing operations and engineering-driven production environments.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting rapid production scaling and high-growth manufacturing organizations.
  • Understanding of engineering change management processes and their impact on production scheduling execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage enterprise-wide production scheduling operations supporting manufacturing activities across multiple company sites.
  • Partner closely with Production Planning teams to develop and maintain integrated manufacturing schedules aligned with production demand forecasts.
  • Manage production order scheduling processes, including creation, prioritization, release sequencing, schedule adjustments, and execution tracking.
  • Develop and maintain master production schedules that balance manufacturing capacity, material availability, labor resources, and production priorities.
  • Coordinate daily scheduling activities to ensure timely release and execution of production work orders.
  • Monitor production schedule adherence and proactively identify scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, or production constraints that impact manufacturing throughput.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to align production schedules with incoming material availability and supplier delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to optimize production sequencing and improve operational efficiency.
  • Establish scheduling processes and standards that improve production flow, reduce downtime, and maximize manufacturing output.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on schedule optimization, throughput efficiency, capacity planning, and manufacturing execution performance.
  • Monitor key production scheduling metrics including schedule attainment, production throughput, resource utilization, backlog management, and cycle time performance.
  • Lead escalation management related to production schedule disruptions, supply shortages, engineering changes, or operational delays.
  • Support long-range capacity planning initiatives and production ramp strategies as manufacturing demands scale.
  • Manage and develop scheduling personnel while building scalable production scheduling infrastructure for future operational growth.
