About The Position

Cedar Creek is a 1,100 MW simple-cycle gas turbine power project built under a lump-sum EPC contract. As Scheduling Lead you interrogate the contractor's programme and tell the project the truth about the critical path — including when that truth is unwelcome.

Requirements

  • 10+ years scheduling large capital projects.
  • 5+ years representing an owner or client over an EPC contractor under a lump-sum contract.
  • Expert Primavera P6 skills.
  • Hands-on delay analysis experience.
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Procore and AI tools used with human verification.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Power generation project experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review and challenge the contractor's schedule, logic and progress claims.
  • Own the owner's independent schedule assessment.
  • Drive critical path and float analysis, and flag slippage early.
  • Review work package sequencing against the schedule.
  • Evaluate the schedule impact of change requests and delay events.
  • Ensure approved changes are reflected in the project schedule.
  • Produce schedule reporting for the project and executive team.
