Scheduling Keyer-Indianapolis, IN 2nd Shift Scheduling Keyer Materials is a key part of our business. Reporting to the Department Supervisor, a Scheduling Keyer is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment, this is the role for you. Successful candidates will have some prior experience in materials.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Min. 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Must have basic product knowledge of finishes, substrates, etc.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Dynamics AX.
  • Knowledge of plant receiving and materials movement processes.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment (training provided if not).

Responsibilities

  • Receive, stage, issue, and deliver materials within the facility to support production schedules and customer orders.
  • Accurately enter inventory transactions into ERP/MRP systems or scanning devices to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Perform cycle counts, assist with physical inventories, and reconcile discrepancies, reporting issues to supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and material movement documentation, supporting quality assurance and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working overtime when needed, cross-training in other areas, and adapting to new technologies or processes.
