About The Position

The Continental Automotive Group is seeking a full-time Scheduling Coordinator for their First Texas Honda location in Austin, TX. This role is central to creating a world-class experience for customers and co-workers, requiring autonomy, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle customer concerns professionally. The position offers a hybrid work model after initial training, with opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.

Requirements

  • Genuine desire to create a world-class experience for customers/co-workers
  • Desire and ability to work autonomously (4 T’s: Task, Time, Technique, and Team)
  • Polished, professional, and positive phone and email communication skills
  • Basic computer abilities (quickly learn different software, basic spreadsheet use, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.)
  • Moderate understanding of web browser functions
  • Must be able to type at 45+ WPM (no looking at your hands as you type!)
  • Experience in an environment of moderate pressure, and capable of making conscientious decisions on the fly
  • Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered

Nice To Haves

  • English/Spanish bilingualism preferred - must be comfortable reading/speaking Spanish
  • Prior relevant hands-on experience with CRM/DMS scheduling software, sales, service, or phone systems is always a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Handle and respond promptly to incoming calls, emails, texts, and online chats
  • Communicate with customers regarding appointment scheduling, appointment changes, missed appointments, and cancellations
  • Handle customer concerns with patience and professionalism, de-escalate upset customers, provide proactive and creative solutions, and resolve issues efficiently
  • Complete required outbound calls daily (missed appointments, recalls, customer lists)
  • Achieve and maintain Honda certification
  • Engaged participation in developmental growth (i.e, trainings, peer shadowing, book club)
