The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling Endoscopy Procedures, performing various secretarial and statistical duties, logging daily activities, and answering phones. This role requires constant communication with ordering offices to ensure accuracy within the electronic medical record system(s). This position is part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital and reports to the Director, Perioperative Services, operating within established organizational and departmental policies.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
One (1) to three (3) years of medical/hospital secretarial experience required
Previous scheduling and computer experience required

Responsibilities

Scheduling Endoscopy Procedures
Performing a variety of secretarial and statistical duties
Log daily activities
Answer phones as available
Maintain constant communication with ordering offices to ensure no discrepancies exist in the electronic medical record system(s)
