About The Position

The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily production schedule of windows for builders and customers. This role involves coordinating with various teams, resolving customer issues, and ensuring adherence to production deadlines. The position also requires a proactive approach to improving efficiency and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Requirements

  • Punctual and reliable; be at work on time every day.
  • Problem solving skills required, willingness to learn.
  • Microsoft Programs experience – Outlook, MS Teams, and MS Excel.
  • Communicate professionally with team members, management, and customers/vendors.
  • Consistently complete day-to-day tasks of a scheduling coordinator per typical routine.
  • High School Diploma, GED or prior experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook software applications.
  • Ability to develop proficiency in FeneVision (Avanti software) and be/become familiar with Apple iOS.
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
  • Good public relations, public speaking and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read, interpret, understand and explain documents such as product specifications or warranty manuals and customer orders.
  • Ability to effectively present information to others, gather information from others and respond appropriately to questions from customers, coworkers, and managers.
  • Excellent phone and email etiquette.
  • Ability to present appropriate attitude for the situation when interacting with customers or coworkers.
  • Must be a team player and exhibit a strong desire to learn and promote self-growth.
  • Must be pro-active, self-disciplined, self-motivated and have a demonstrated ability to follow projects through to completion.
  • Attention to detail is required.
  • Ability to demonstrate organizational skills, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.

  • Ability to apply basic concepts to general math.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule production of windows for every builder/customer daily using the weekly allocation spreadsheet.
  • Answer incoming calls and/or emails from customers.
  • Take ownership and quickly resolve any issues regarding builder’s installs.
  • Process and communicate daily scheduling updates via email and/or builder scheduling systems.
  • Adhere to "locked" FeneVision required dates set by Avanti team members.
  • Attend builder meetings to discuss production pace and projected window install dates.
  • Review window packs in distribution centers and plant schedules daily.
  • Provide improved solutions for efficiency in systems, reporting, communication, labeling, etc.
  • Crosstrain, share best practices, and continually learn other departments/locations roles and dynamics for continuous growth.
