About The Position

Under the direction of the Manager/Case Manager, this position is responsible for scheduling all licensed staff members and Home Health Technicians on a daily basis, according to patient needs and geographic location. Consults with manager to assure equal distribution of visits among field staff to achieve maximum cost effectiveness.

• Ability to provide courteous, professional and a positive attitude and to be respectful of others.
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Required
• 1 Healthcare/Medical - Home Care Required
• Meets the Standards of Behavior as outlined in Personnel Policy and Procedure #1, Employee Relations Code.
• Demonstrates knowledge of procedures for protecting and maintaining security, confidentiality and integrity of employee, patient, family, organizational and other medical information.
• Understands and supports the commitment of Methodist Hospitals in adhering to federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations governing ethical business practices for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assigns all cases to licensed staff and home health technicians.
• Maintains weekly, daily, and weekend schedules for all staff.
• Communicates schedule changes to staff and patients.
• Participates in problem solving and conflict management related to schedule changes and needs.
• Prepares information and SOC packet for admitting discipline.
• Prepares information packets for all other disciplines assigned to case.
