About The Position

Overwatch Mission Critical is seeking a Scheduler to create, review, and analyze critical path schedules independently. This role involves developing comprehensive plans that communicate programs, projects, and strategic goals, representing a realistic and feasible planning approach for the construction team. The Scheduler will monitor schedule performance data, develop complex data analysis, and issue schedule reports. Understanding principles of cost estimating and productivity is crucial for establishing schedule parameters. The position requires investigating and incorporating project constraints, performing Time Impact Analysis and Claims analysis, and utilizing tools like Acumen Fuse for schedule diagnostics. The Scheduler will also develop schedule variance analysis, collaborate with peers for continuous improvement, and run schedule risk scenarios.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Estimating, or relevant functional discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years related work experience.
  • Data Center experience is strongly preferred.
  • 5 Years of Data Center Experience Needed
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a professional work environment, including preparing written reports and documentation, conveying information clearly to team members, clients, and stakeholders, and responding appropriately to verbal and written communications related to job duties.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, twist, bend, and climb stairs or ladders for extended periods while navigating uneven, unpaved, or obstructed terrain.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Must be able to drive between job sites and access all areas of an active construction zone, including raised platforms, scaffolding, and confined spaces.
  • Must be able to tolerate exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and construction-related noise, vibrations, and odors.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and site personnel, and maintain situational awareness in high-activity environments.
  • Must have sufficient visual acuity to read drawings, specifications, and safety signage, and to observe site activity.

Responsibilities

  • Create, review, and analyze critical path schedules independently, in an efficient and comprehensive manner.
  • Develop comprehensive plans that communicates the programs, projects, and strategic goals.
  • Represent a realistic and feasible planning approach for our main internal customer - Construction.
  • Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project’s goals (verbal, written, graphically).
  • Monitor schedule performance data, develop complex data analysis, and issue schedule reports required by management and project procedures.
  • Understand principles of cost estimating and productivity in establishing schedule parameters (duration, cost and resource loading, etc.)
  • Investigate and incorporate project constraints in planning effort.
  • Perform Time Impact Analysis and Claims analyzation.
  • Utilize Acumen Fuse, or similar schedule diagnostic, to monitor schedule performance data, develop complex data analysis, and issue schedule reports required by management and project procedures.
  • Develop schedule variance analysis.
  • Work with vertical peers focusing on continuous improvement to our business processes.
  • Run schedule risk scenarios based on Monte Carlo and other risk analysis.
  • Responsible for developing policies and procedures for scheduling and facilitating user training with our internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare conceptual and detailed schedules.
  • Contribute to the development of planning and sequencing of activities.
