The Scheduler is responsible for ensuring that all customer inbound and outbound loads are set up for delivery or pickup. This role involves gathering and maintaining all data and records relative to scheduling. The individual will consistently contribute to USCS’s key performance areas, including sales, customer satisfaction, cost controls, productivity, accuracy, safety, and sanitation, while maintaining a positive work environment. This position requires assisting in meeting scheduling demands while building good customer relationships and ensuring that all requests are responded to in the highest professional manner. The Scheduler will set up all customer pickups and deliveries in the WMS/PHENIX (if applicable), including customer account specific transportation driven systems if required (e.g., BLUJAY, OTM, etc.). They will utilize the IAS tool as able to assist with scheduling, and respond to all customer and carrier calls and emails professionally. The role also involves distributing documentation to the appropriate party, maintaining the facilities pickup and delivery schedule, and ensuring the accuracy of all scheduling documents. Additionally, the Scheduler will assist the Superintendent and Operations Manager with any assigned requests or projects.
