About The Position

FT Scheduler needed for spine surgeon in South OKC. This role involves managing patient appointments, handling insurance verification, and collaborating with referral sources. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and experience with EMR systems.

Requirements

• One year medical office scheduling experience is preferred
• Must have excellent customer service skills and be detail oriented
• EPIC or other electronic medical records experience and Work Comp experience is preferred
• Must be able to learn quickly
• High School diploma or equivalent required (GED)

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and schedule office visits and follow up appointments
• Obtain and verify insurance information and document accurate demographics and patient data efficiently
• Work closely with referral sources to include physicians, adjusters and case managers as needed
• Filing, Faxing, documenting in EMR and other duties as assigned
