About The Position

PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We are seeking a talented Scheduler to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role would be located onsite at our Company headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. The Scheduler will serve as the key liaison between Trading, West Coast refineries, and external counterparties to ensure the seamless coordination and execution of all purchase and sale deliveries across multiple commodities. This role supports the movement of Crude and Feedstocks, Clean Products, and LPGs through various modes of transportation, including—but not limited to—pipeline, terminal, barge, vessel, rail, and truck. Due to the operational demands of this role, the Scheduler must be available to support business needs on a 24/7 on‑call basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant industry experience may be considered.
  • 1+ years experience in a corporate environment working with internal /external contacts.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities, with the capability to anticipate issues and engage appropriate stakeholders to resolve them.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective, collaborative working relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with crude oil, refined products, LPGs, or other commodity logistics.
  • Exposure to a fast paced, high-pressure environment with cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with ETRM systems; experience with RightAngle preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule movements of Crude, Feedstocks, Clean Products, and LPGs via pipelines, terminals, barges, vessels, rail, and truck for the West Coast region.
  • Coordinate all logistics associated with commodity movements to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Serve as a primary communication point with Traders, refineries, counterparties, pipeline operators, and other operational stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong internal and external relationships, ensuring consistent, clear communication.
  • Oversee multiple simultaneous operational activities, maintaining strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Monitor and resolve scheduling or delivery issues, ensuring uninterrupted flow of commodities.
  • Accrue, verify, and reconcile secondary and operational costs associated with commodity movements.
  • Review and approve vendor and supplier invoices in accordance with contractual terms.
  • Input and maintain timely, accurate data within the ETRM system.
  • Execute additional related duties and ad‑hoc requests as needed.
  • Availability to support business needs on a 24/7 on‑call basis is required.
