About The Position
Sentara Leigh is hiring a Part-time Scheduler for the Cardiac Unit. This role involves scheduling appointments and procedures for patients, verifying patient information, and managing the order entry process. The position also includes responsibilities in communications, guest relations, medical records maintenance, and analysis, along with various clerical and administrative duties.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a related area such as a customer service environment, in a medical office, or in a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Schedules appointments and procedures for patients.
- Verifies patient information.
- Responsible for order entry process.
- Handles communications.
- Manages guest relations.
- Maintains medical records.
- Performs analysis.
- Performs various clerical and administrative duties.
