About The Position
St. Mary's Medical Center is looking for a Scheduler for the Cardiac Cath Lab. Under the direct supervision of the Department Manager or designee, schedules procedures in the department, confirms insurance authorization for the procedure and coordinates with Pre-Registration and provider offices to obtain necessary information.
Requirements
- High school graduate
- Must be able to type at least 45 wpm
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Pleasing personality suitable to meeting the public and associating with co-workers
Nice To Haves
- Scheduling and/or authorization experience desirable
- Knowledge of neurophysiology and/or sleep medicine procedures optimal
Responsibilities
- Schedules procedures in the department

- Coordinates with Pre-Registration and provider offices to obtain necessary information
