Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience as a scheduler.
  • Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience using UKG

Responsibilities

  • Prepares daily employee schedules for all Arbour Hospital units; Deliver upcoming schedule to all employees.
  • Verifies new employee's schedules with Human Resources/Unit Managers during Arbour Hospital orientation.
  • Answers the telephone in a professional and polite manner, communicates scheduling information to appropriate staff as needed.
  • Interacts professionally with all patients/employees.
  • Maintains a good working relationship with all Departments.
  • Communicates with staff clearly and appropriately.
  • Accepts other responsibilities as directed.
  • Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality.
  • UKG Scheduling – creating, entering, balancing, maintaining & etc.
  • Call Out – tracking call out and feeding info to mgt. on counseling/disciplinary reporting
  • Ordering hospital supplies for Nursing and Office
  • Assisting Manager on missing radios and other items
  • Per Diem employees – tracking employees, ensuring there adherence to policy
  • Floats – Creating float schedule and informing manager of any schedule changes
  • Valuables – Managing all patient property entering hospital documentation, witnessing, collecting receipts and maintaining
  • Payroll- Managing bonus list, assisting with missed swipes, processing kronos, maintaining documentation, time mgt and miscellaneous.
  • Accounting- Managing check request forms for employees and managers.
  • Nursing Care Hours- Monthly maintenance of NCH hours to ensure accurate PCH.
  • Auditing- Preparing all staffing schedule records for auditors/surveyors. Scheduling employees for investigations and aiding in the process.
  • Front Desk- Front desk coverage daily breaks and throughout the day.
  • Backup Supervisor Schedule- Yearly scheduling of managers/supervisors.
  • Education- Assisting with scheduling MED, other trainings (CPR, CPI, Adolescent) ,resetting health stream passwords, setting employees up in the training department. Informing staff of upcoming expirations.
