Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of materials scheduling experience in a just-in-time facility.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team oriented, communicates well with others, and able to interact with people at all levels and departments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Proficient with MRP systems
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and various manufacturing/business information software

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer releases, scheduling parameters, and production planning activities within the ERP system to support customer demand and operational requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and validate production Bills of Materials (BOMs), coordinating reviews with Engineering to ensure data accuracy and support engineering change implementation.
  • Monitor customer schedules, demand fluctuations, and capacity constraints by analyzing volume trends and preparing forecasting tools to proactively identify potential risks.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through finished goods reconciliation, daily scrap reporting, discrepancy investigation, and root cause problem solving.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for delivery performance, shipment issues, advanced shipping notifications (ASN), shipping documentation, and replacement shipping activities.
  • Complete and maintain customer and operational documentation, including MMOG, Packaging Data, No Surprise requirements, PFEP updates, model year-end obsolescence reviews, and claim submissions.
  • Support departmental performance objectives by achieving key operational indicators (KOIs) and ensuring compliance with company policies, objectives, and employee charter principles.
  • Perform additional supply chain, production control, and administrative duties as assigned to support business and customer needs.
