About The Position
ComForCare Home Care is a premier non-medical, companion in-home care provider. We focus on understanding client needs to ensure their safety and independence at home, allowing them to continue enjoying their lives. As a Scheduler at ComForCare, you will be responsible for overseeing client service scheduling and coordination, managing staff assignments, and being available to work as a caregiver when needed. You will also ensure compliance with agency policies and regulations, and maintain the confidentiality of client and employee information.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Previous experience in staffing or as a scheduler
Nice To Haves
- HHA or CNA preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain schedules for services requested by clients
- Monitor overtime and mileage records of employees
- Provides direction to direct care employees to ensure safe and effective coverage of client needs
- Maintain adequate numbers of available on-call staff
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job, respecting client and employee records
- Oversee the scheduling and coordination of client services
- Manage staffing assignments
- Be available to fill in as caregiver
- Ensure compliance with agency policies and regulations
- Maintain confidentiality of client and employee information
