About The Position

Scenthound Snellville - One of the best places and teams you will work with. We are hiring for a part time Trimmer/SCENT Tech who can work at our location 3035 Centerville Hwy. In this role, you will provide dogs the routine care they need on a monthly basis by providing our E-scent-ials service, which includes bathing, nail trimming/grinding, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, gland check, gland expression, and trimming. Requirements

Proficiency in pet grooming, including bathing, clipping, and styling
Knowledge of Pet Care practices, with a focus on health and wellness
Strong Customer Service and Communication skills for effective engagement with pet parents
Ability to handle dogs of various breeds and sizes with care and patience
Love of dogs
Team player
Empathetic, patient and wholly believes in the mission of Scenthound
Have your own means of transportation
Must be able to safely lift 50-70 Lbs.
Hard working, reliable, self-motivated, and seeking growth
Works well independently in a team focused environment
Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time
Willing to work in a smoke-free environment

Nice To Haves

Experience in a professional grooming setting is preferred
Certification in pet grooming or a related field is a plus

Responsibilities

Provided haircuts
Comb, brush and de-mat dog’s fur to remove all tangles, knots and mats
Wash and dry dog’s coat (blow dry and/or towel dry)
Clip nails, clean ears, gland expression, brush teeth, grind nails as needed
Complete an accurate S.C.E.N.T. check for every dog serviced to provide wellness feedback to dog parent
Start on growth path
Advocate for all dogs in our care and in our community
Follow quality control efforts & Scenter cleaning procedures
Ensure safety of dogs and team members at all times
