About The Position

This role is for a Scanning Operator Level 1 within a Digital Imaging Center, focusing on digital imaging and document scanning. The operator will be responsible for preparing customer documents for scanning, inspecting them for quality issues, and preparing various document types and conditions for the scanning process. Key duties include indexing scanned images according to customer specifications, performing post-imaging services, and supporting print, finishing, and delivery services. The role requires maintaining a high level of quality control to meet customer specifications and contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs), handling sensitive documents with accuracy and confidentiality, and collaborating with team members to manage workloads and meet deadlines. Adaptability to changing project requirements and operational priorities is also essential, along with performing other assigned duties.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and data entry programs preferred.
  • Typing proficiency preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service, office support, data entry, or administrative environment preferred.
  • Prior experience with document scanning, imaging, records management, or digital imaging operations is a plus.
  • Experience handling sensitive or confidential documentation preferred.
  • Proven ability to maintain quality and accuracy in repetitive processing tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the day-to-day operations within a Digital Imaging Center, with a focus on digital imaging and document scanning activities.
  • Prepare customer documents for the digital imaging process.
  • Inspect physical documents for quality issues that may impact the scanning process.
  • Prepare a wide variety of document types and conditions for scanning.
  • Index scanned images according to customer specifications and established naming conventions.
  • Perform additional post-imaging services as required.
  • Support print, finishing, and customer delivery services within the immediate Indianapolis area as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of quality control to ensure customer specifications and contractual SLA requirements are met.
  • Handle and manage large volumes of sensitive documents with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Adapt quickly to changing project requirements and operational priorities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
