About The Position

The Scale Room Operator will be responsible for managing and operating scales used for weighing materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards. This role involves monitoring scale performance, performing routine maintenance, and handling data related to weight measurements.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Must be able to work in a humid, cold, wet or slippery surface at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (P.P.E)
• Be attentive to detail
• Ability to work safely, wear P.P.E, and follow instructions
• Ability to attend work consistently
• Display strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience/knowledge of manufacturing environment
• Previous heavy machinery experience in manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Open windows and remove plastic bags before production starts
• Set up scale and printer and turn them on
• Observe boxes coming to the scale and assign the proper grade
• Change grades once notified
• Replace label rolls when need it
