Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
Vision requirement of at least 20/40 for near and far vision.

Responsibilities

Forms infold carton and positions on scale platform for packing.
Neatly packs carton with layers of sheeted bacon.
Scales to proper weight. If overweight, removes bacon until acceptable limit is obtained. If underweight, neatly adds weight slices until acceptable.
Adds cover sheet and folds cover.
Sets aside carton to conveyor.
Properly packs and scales bacon.
Monitors scale tare for correct setting and keeps area clean.
In downgrade position, inspect bacon slices to meet specific standards for various orders as set by leadership.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.
