About The Position

Capital Quarries is looking to fill a Scale House Attendant position at our Hermann Quarry.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook
• Strong organization skills
• Reliable Transportation
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong ability to multi-task with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

Responsibilities

• Weigh trucks and prepare tickets for truck drivers in order to keep accurate records
• Operate in-bound and out-bound scales
• Direct truck drivers to the appropriate loading areas
• Facilitate payment for material
• Ensure all transaction data and customer information is entered accurately
• Respond to all customer inquiries with superior customer service skills and a high sense of urgency
• Communicate in person and by phone with customers and team members
• Ensure all truck drivers are complying with the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
• Other duties as assigned
