About The Position
Are you passionate about sustainability and looking for a rewarding job? Pioneer Recycling, a Waste Connections Company, seeks a dedicated Scale House Attendant to join our team! Location: Frederickson, WA Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute break) Compensation: $20.00 to $22.00/hour + $1.00/hour for Spanish-speaking candidates Key Responsibilities: Manage Excel spreadsheets to track and analyze recycling data Utilize Scale-It Software, transitioning to Wasteworks in January Assist with invoicing and administrative tasks Provide exceptional customer service to drivers during weigh-ins Conduct scale house duties, ensuring accurate measurements and compliance with regulations Requirements: Minimum 1 year of administrative experience Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor Comfortable working in a dynamic environment typical of a recycling sorting center Attention to detail for accurate data entry and measurements Ability to multitask and handle high-volume traffic Strong communication skills for interacting with drivers and team members Basic math skills for calculating weights and measurements Preferred: Proficiency in Spanish What We Offer: A friendly and supportive work environment, emphasizing our Servant Leadership culture with frequent check-ins from leadership—your voice matters! Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of administrative experience
