About The Position

We’re looking for a reliable, customer-friendly Scale Attendant to join our team in Fremont, NE. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for drivers and customers entering our site, helping keep operations running smoothly, accurately, and safely.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience (front desk, retail, office, or similar) preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer skills (data entry, email, simple systems)
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Comfortable working both independently and with a team
  • Good communication skills with drivers, customers, and coworkers

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and drivers with a professional, friendly attitude
  • Weigh trucks in and out using our scale system
  • Accurately record and process tickets, materials, and transactions
  • Handle cash, credit card, and account payments
  • Answer phones and assist with customer questions
  • Maintain organized records and daily reports
  • Communicate with drivers, dispatch, and site personnel to ensure smooth operations
  • Keep the scale house clean, organized, and running efficiently
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
