Requirements

  • One (1) year experience in transportation or processing of transportation documents.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-stop environment while providing excellent customer service.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities while providing a high level of support.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Computer experience, including Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to learn in-house systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in transportation or processing of transportation documents
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Kiosks and TMS systems

Responsibilities

  • Operating truck scales to verify, gather, and input data from inbound and outbound materials
  • Performing daily tests on radiation detectors
  • Generating environmental and DOT paperwork for non-compliance loads
  • Organizing and maintaining paperwork for the finance and shipping offices
  • Performing general housekeeping
  • Completing other tasks related to the successful operation of Material Handling
  • Attending toolbox meetings and providing proper turnover prior to the start of their shift
  • Working scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as business conditions warrant
  • Initiating, leading, and upholding safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times
