About The Position
Oversee scaffolding operations on construction sites, ensuring safety, compliance with regulations, and efficient management of scaffolding teams. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience in scaffolding work and supervisory roles is highly valued, along with a strong commitment to safety regulations.
Nice To Haves
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Relevant certifications in scaffolding and construction safety, such as the CISRS Scaffolding Supervisor/Manager Training, are preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
- Ensure that all scaffolding activities comply with legal and industry safety standards, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
- Plan and allocate work to scaffolding crews, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Train new staff on safety protocols and proper scaffolding techniques, fostering a culture of safety and compliance within the team.
- Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and maintenance work, ensuring accurate documentation for compliance and safety audits.
- Liaise with other project supervisors and management to align scaffolding plans with project timelines and objectives.
