About The Position
Responsible for executing helper duties to assist assigned crew.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience
- Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Grasping, Feeling, Repetitive Motions
Responsibilities
- Examines, selects, and gather materials and tools
- Examines blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions of structure
- Inspect base surface for obstructions
- Loads, transports, and unloads material
- Measures boards, timbers, or plywood, using square, measuring tape, and ruler, and marks cutting lines on materials using pencil and scriber
- Saw boards and plywood panels to required sizes
- Assembles scaffold containing handrails, mid rales, braces and planks, toe boards, screening, locking pins and wheels to job specifications
- Braces forms in place with timbers, tie rods, and anchor bolts
- Secures scaffolding to permanent structure by tying
- Additional responsibilities not listed may be required
