About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking local Phoenix, AZ area candidates for the role of Scaffold E&D Foreman. This position requires candidates to currently reside within a commutable distance of Phoenix, 85007. The role involves designing various types of scaffolds, ordering materials, and performing necessary documentation. The Foreman 1 acts as a mentor and coach to Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenters and is required to work with tools from time to time in addition to supervising a crew. Requirements

  • Must live in the Phoenix, AZ area.
  • Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter for a minimum of 2 years or approved equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights.
  • Must have good knowledge of the OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding.
  • Must have a good knowledge and understanding of the various types of scaffolding material being used so that the intended loads of the scaffolding are not exceeded.

Nice To Haves

  • Some trade school preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design various types of scaffolds and order materials as required to maintain work flow.
  • Perform all necessary documentations i.e. delivery/pick up tickets, time sheets, extra work authorizations, safety plans, JSA’s and scaffold inspection checklists, etc.
  • Act as a mentor and coach to the Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenters to aid in their development.
  • Work with tools from time to time in addition to supervising a crew.
  • Safely and effectively supervise a crew or supervise and direct up to (3) Lead Carpenters, who each run a small crew, to erect and dismantle various types of scaffolding under the supervision of the E&D Foreman 2 or E&D Supervisor.
